You win some. You lose some. The Bobcat football team improved to 2-7 after defeating the Richwood Lumberjacks, last Friday night- October 29th. Fridays game was this years last at Garten Stadium.
Sophomore Drake Cole ran a career high of 249 yards and scored two touchdowns. Junior Duke Dodson ran 156 yards and scored twice. Senior Julien “Shug” Keaton scored two touchdowns and Junior Coen McClaugherty scored one. Final score was 46-0.
The Summers County High School marching band directed by Tim Sims had a a Halloween performance at half time.
Senior players from the volleyball team were recognized at half time. This years seniors are Maggie Stover, Marlee Meador, and Danielle Midkiff. The volleyball team began sectional play yesterday, Tuesday, November 2nd at Mount View.
The football team will travel to James Monroe on November 5th for a 7:30 PM kick off. Make the short drive to support the Bobcats!
