White Sulphur Springs — The Fresh Water Folk Festival, which was supposed to take place on September 11, has been canceled. The recent announcement states that the cancelation is due to the increased spread of COVID-19 but that, “We hope to see you next year!”
Renick — There will be boxes filled with books to be given away for free at the Community Market in Renick on Tuesday, Aug. 24. The market is held at the Renick Community Center between 4 and 6 p.m.
