As of the time of writing, road work is expected to continue on Temple Street in Downtown Hinton. Milling of the road began on Monday, Aug. 2. Those traveling through the area experienced delays and we’re encouraged to avoid the area when possible.
According to an announcement made by the City of Hinton via their Facebook page, the project is expected to take three weeks. Milling is only the first step in the process. Next, two new layers will be applied to the street. As the work Continues, so will delays. In the announcement, the City asks that you “please bear with us as we get this improvement for our community.”
