The Summers County Public Library has officially announced the Summer schedule for the bookmobile. Throughout the summer the bookmobile will be making stops in various parts of the county so that as many people as possible will have access. The bookmobile works just like the library itself. Patrons can pick out books and check them out with their library card. The book can then be returned to the library or the bookmobile.
Every Monday during the months of June and July, the bookmobile will be at Hinton City Park (across from Big Four) from 11 a.m. until noon. On Wednesdays, they will be making two stops. The first will be at New River Citgo, also referred to as Richmond’s Store from 10 to 11 a.m. The second will be in the parking lot of River Valley Church in Forest Hill from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Fridays will be a bit different. The bookmobile will make different stops on alternating Fridays. On June 18, they will be in the gas station parking lot in Green Sulphur Springs from 9:45 until 10:30 a.m. and then at the Hinton House Apartments from 11:15 until 11:45 a.m. On June 25, the stops will be the parking lot of Route 12 and 122 in Forest Hill from 10 until 10:30 a.m. and the River Valley Church parking lot from 10:45 until 11:15 a.m. These stops will continue to be on alternating Fridays throughout the summer and beyond.
