BEASLEY
Amber Marie Allen Beasley, 73, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Wednesday March 10, 2021 following a long illness.
Born June 13, 1947 at Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Jack C. and Emma Ruth Simms Allen. She attended the Riverview Chapel and First Baptist Church of Hinton and had worked as manager of the Ritz Theater. Amber took great pride in providing love and care to many children and families in the community. She was like a mother to all of her daughter’s friends. Amber enjoyed reading her bible, spending time at the beach, going shopping with her daughter, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Allen.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Jamie Weeks and husband, Jeff of Beckley; two grandsons, Timothy Tyler Bragg and wife, Nicole of Beckley and Hunter Lane Bragg of Hilldale; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Rae Bragg of Beckley; five siblings, Patricia Paitsel and husband, Gilbert of Princeton, Donna Livesay and husband, Clifton of Virginia, Aaron Allen of South Carolina, Jackie Allen of Charleston, and Mark Allen of Beckley.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Ballengee. Friends could call from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday at the funeral parlors. For the safety of the family and the community, precautionary guidelines were followed.
Tyler Bragg, Hunter Bragg, Jeff Weeks, Mark Allen, Briceson Huffman, and Jacob Lively served as pallbearers.
