The Summers County Health Department is currently out of the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. They are continuing to place citizens over the age of 65 on the waitlist that will be utilized when more vaccines are available. To get on the waitlist, call the health department at 304-466-3388. Those who are on the list will be contacted to set up an appointment when more vaccines are available.
Several vaccine clinics were held around the state on Jan. 21 and 22 including two locations in Greenbrier County. Many citizens from Greenbrier, Summers and surrounding areas attended the clinic to the point that both location’s appointment lists were full before the clinic took place.
