Elvin Roger “Droop” Wynes is retiring after 35 years of working for The City of Hinton. Wynes was honored at a luncheon Friday by the city’s Street Department. He is retiring at the end of the year. The City of Hinton Government Facebook page is accepting congratulations and well wishes for Wynes with a comment posted by the city: “Mr Wynes has been an asset to the community for many years and will be terribly missed.”
