The week began with 7 new cases of COVID-19 according to the Summers County Health Department and linked to workplace outbreaks and community spread. At last count the Health Department reported 136 Laboratory Confirmed Cases, 10 Probable Cases, 63 Active Cases, 83Recovered Cases, 5 Currently Hospitalized and Summers County’s first death from COVID-19.
Dairy Queen in Hinton has put a hold on its breakfast shift from now through November 16 “due to possible exposure to COVID-19” and that its breakfast staff will quarantine to monitor their health. In a letter, the Dairy Queen Team says the restaurant will continue to open daily at 11:00 a.m.
