The 2020 Christmas season will soon be here and this year, more than ever, we ask that you show your Christmas spirit to children in need in Summers County. The Summers County Christmas Toy Fund is once again sponsoring its Annual Christmas Toy Fund Drive for 2020.
Volunteers are invited to play their part in the Christmas Toy Fund Drive. Ways to help are:
Make a tax deductible donation with a check payable to the HINTON AREA FOUNDATION (list “Christmas Toy Fund” on the memo line);
Join in to shop at the Walmart on Eisenhower Drive in Beckley from December 7 through 11;
Prepare gifts to be presented on December 12.

Summers County families in need at Christmas time can pick up an application at the DHHR Office at City Hall in Hinton. Applications will be available starting November 1 through November 30, 2020.
Children considered for the program should range in age from newborn to twelve and must live in Summers County. All applications are verified to establish eligibility. All approved applicants will be notified by mail as to when the gifts will be given to the children.
