FRIGHT NIGHTS WV INVITES MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA TO A SPECIAL MEDIA NIGHT ON SEPTEMBER 30th

Daniels, W.Va. – The Resort at Glade Springs will hold a special Fright Nights media night on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Members of the media are invited to come walk through the attraction to create fun stories about the haunt’s upcoming season. The event will start at 7:30pm and is only open to members of the media and invited special guests. The creative director and cast will be available for interviews throughout the evening. Those planning to attend should RSVP to Ashley Long at along@gladesprings.com.

Fright Night’s has announced a new theme and COVID-19 safety measures for its 11th annual Fright Nights event happening each weekend throughout October. The haunted attraction, which has grown to become one of the most popular in the state, is taking extra precautions this year to ensure the safety of each guest. These safety measures include actors wearing PPE masks beneath their theatrical masks, temperature and symptom checks for each actor and staff member at the beginning of each night, and additional distancing measures to keep patrons separated from each other and haunt staff. In order to prevent guests from waiting in a large group, the use of a timed ticketing system will be in effect this year. Guests will be able to purchase their time slot online and will receive a text once it’s their turn to enter the attraction.

“One of the things that makes a haunted attraction so fun is the fact that you’re moving through the haunt with a very small group, intentionally distanced from others in order to heighten the experience. Taking these additional safety measures will only enhance those spooky feelings you get when you’re alone in a haunted house while providing guests the safety and peace of mind they’ve come to expect from Fright Nights throughout the years.” says Ashley Long, Creative Director at The Resort at Glade Springs. “We’ve been working hard throughout the summer to replace our hands-on themed attraction, which allowed guests to handle laser tag guns, with a brand new theme called Ghost Town. The set and costume design for this latest addition to our haunt will truly put it over the top for guests hoping to get the most out of their haunted experience without having to worry about touching anything.”

This year will feature 5 attractions: The brand new “Ghost Town” full of phantoms of gunslingers, cowboys, miners and saloon gals haunting and terrifying anyone who sets foot in their town, a spine-tingling, multi-sensory spectacle titled “Mr. Beard’s Freaks & Phobia’s Traveling Sideshow”, a chilling haunted house experience titled “Deadwood Manor”, a terrifying trip through an institution for the criminally insane titled “The Asylum”, and finally a flashlight carrying attraction where visitors will try to find their way through the pig man’s deadly farm without being captured titled “Slaughterhouse.”
