SUMMERS COUNTY W.Va. (Hinton News) – The Three Rivers Youth (TRY) Theater program is now accepting new members. Are you an experienced performer? First timer? Are you reluctant to get on stage, but interested in helping backstage with props and costumes? Are you looking to be the star of the show or just a background character? This group is for everyone in 4th through 12th grades.
Their first meeting is Aug. 25 at 4:30 p.m. at the Memorial Building, where they will read the script for the new play, The Dragon’s Egg. During that session, they will discuss who is interested in each role or job to support the actors.
Practices will be every Monday from 4:30-6:30, Sept. 8 to Nov. 3, and performance will be on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
