CHARLESTON W.Va. (Hinton News) – The West Virginia State Auditor’s Office has identified and responded to a technical issue affecting some foster and childcare payments originally scheduled for direct deposit. Working in coordination with the Department of Human Services, the State Treasurer’s Office, and other partners, a solution is already in place to ensure those payments are reprocessed correctly in a timely manner. Check recipients remain unaffected, and those expecting electronic payments will receive their funds as expected.
