Emergency vehicle lights flashing, police car inspecting city, security service

JUMPING BRANCH W.Va. (Hinton News) – The Summers County Sheriff’s Department released the following statement regarding last night’s Jumping Branch Dollar General fire:

On Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 4:30 AM, we received a call to respond to a breaking and entering, and arson, at the Dollar General in Jumping Branch. We are currently investigating this incident. We are asking for anyone in that area to check their exterior cameras for activity around that time. If you see any suspicious person or vehicle activity, contact our office or the non emergency number (304-466-3333) at dispatch.
