ALDERSON W.Va. (Hinton News) – On Saturday, Nov. 23, the third Writers Station, an open mic for authors of poetry, prose, short fiction, memoirs, and essays, will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Train Depot, #1 Railroad Avenue in Alderson.

Writers are invited to sign up upon arrival to read and share their work. The Writers Station is free and open to the public. Those who aren’t writers but appreciate the creativity of others are welcome to come and enjoy.

The Writers Station is sponsored by Alderson Main Street and produced by Cheryl Mansley and Reni Fulton. It will typically take place on the 4th Saturday of each month, except in December, when there will be no open mic. For more information, contact Reni Fulton at reni.fulton1@gmail.com, 304-994-1703 (cell), 304-832-6390 (landline), or visit ArtBeat of the Mountains on Facebook.
