LEGAL NOTICE

REQUEST FOR BIDS

Summers County Commission is accepting sealed bids for a 2007 DODGE UT, VIN No 1D8HB38P17F586507. This vehicle is being sold “AS IS” and considered non-running. Sealed bids may be submitted to the Summers County Commission at 120 Ballengee Street, Suite 203, Hinton, WV 25951 or presented to the Summers County Clerk. Bids must be received in the office by the end of business on September 6, 2024 regardless of postmark. Sealed bids will be opened by the Summers County Commission in the Regular Session on Friday, September 11, 2024. Terms of payment: Payment shall be made in full within five business days by certified check made payable to the Sheriff of Summers County before possession can be taken. Vehicle must be removed within five business days of receipt of title. In the event that the bid fails to meet statutory requirements, the Commission will reject all bids and refer the said vehicle to auction. To inspect the vehicle, contact Jerry Grimmett at (304) 890-8431 for appointment.
