OAK HILL W.Va. (Hinton News) – Mountain Music Festival returns to ACE Adventure Resort for the tenth year May 30 to June 1. Appalachia’s destination music festival combines outdoor adventures and live music with mind-blowing visual artists, fun workshops, and glorious camping in the New River Gorge.

The weekend will kick off Thursday night at ACE’s The Lost Paddle Bar and Grill with shows from 3 of the festival’s 18 bands: Minka, Yam Yam, and Same as it Ever Was. Popular bands like Beats Antique, Monophonics, Big Something, and Moon Hooch will be performing on the Lake Stage and Main Stage throughout the day and evening on Friday and Saturday. A wide array of 35 visual artists will be on site sharing their talents from painting to mixed media, murals, pyrography art, fairytale surrealism, and ultra collage.

Workshops will include a hair braiding circle, book readings, Vinyasa yoga classes, hoop dance, sacred art circle, slacklining, theatre games, and flow state and soul card art. Festivalgoers will get thrilling exhibitions from hoop and fan performers, aerialists, character performers, stilt walkers, and a full line-up of fire performers, featuring Dragoonis Flame. Tempting food and creative vendors will also be on hand throughout the weekend.

For those with an adventurous spirit, festival host ACE Adventure Resort offers a wide range of epic endeavors including world-class whitewater rafting, ziplining, mountain biking, paddle boarding, mud racing, paintball, disc golf, and all sorts of fun at their water park.
