ROCHESTER, N.Y., (Hinton News) – Indigo 15, LLC proudly presents the long-awaited release of Forest of Darkness, a harrowing and deeply moving memoir written by the late James E. Jackson, a U.S. Special Forces soldier captured in 1966 by the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam [Viet Cong] and held in captivity for 16 months. Although the author passed away in 2019, his remarkable story, penned nearly 50 years ago, stands as a testament to the courage and resilience of those who served during the Vietnam War.
