RONCEVERTE, W.Va. (Hinton News) – The American Heritage Music Hall congratulates Harriett Kirby as its May recipient of the Very Valuable Person (VVP) award.

Kirby was given a certificate of appreciation on May 27 to recognize her dedication, hard work, wonderful cooking — especially her macaroni salad — and time put in to ensure the Music Hall is a success. She has been very faithful in attending Tuesday and Saturday night sessions.

Kirby is one of the earliest volunteers since the beginning of the American Heritage Music Hall; she is the most loyal and has been very faithful in volunteering to work the door at the Saturday night sessions.

Along with his award, Kirby received an award cup, four free passes and a picture to take home.

The Music Hall has also established an “award wall” featuring the monthly winners.

The Music Hall thanks Kirby for her help in keeping music alive.
