American Heritage Music Hall announces upcoming spring events

RONCEVERTE, W.Va. (Hinton News) – Bill Evans, James Alford and Grace Poe of the American Heritage Music Hall have announced events for the next quarter.

April: 4, 11, 18 and 25: Jammin’ session dates from 7-10 p.m. Donation includes a variety of food, coffee, water and soft drinks provided by the the audience. Door prizes are given out as well.

April 29: Dance with the Midland Trail band, 7-10:30 p.m.

May 2,9, 23 and 30: Jammin’ session from 7-10 p.m.

May 27: Dance with the Eades Mountain Boys, 7-10:30 p.m.

June 6, 13, 20 and 27: Jammin’ session from 7-10 p.m.

June 24: Dance with Ivan and the Outlaws, 7-10:30 p.m.

The American Heritage Music Hall is always looking for musicians, vocalists, entertainers who would like to perform in the Jammin’ Sessions on Tuesday nights. All mix of music is welcome to join. Contact Bill Evans at 304-392-6079, James Alford at 304-646-1931 or Grace Poe at 304-992-5852

Directions to the Music Hall: from I-64, take exit 169, Rt. 219 South through Lewisburg and Ronceverte to Greenbrier River Bridge, turn left on Island Park and go to the end. It is located at 496 Island Park, just past the Mulligan Lumber Company entrance. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The purpose of the American Heritage Music Hall is to promote live music of all types to carry on the area’s music heritage, including old time, country, bluegrass, folk, blues, jazz and storytelling.

Events are family oriented with all ages welcome. No drugs, alcohol or smoking are permitted.

The American Heritage Music Hall is a nonprofit organization established 1998 and is a recipient of Spirit of West Virginia award.
