Lady Bobcats continue winning streak

Summers County Volleyball Veterans And A Super Sophomore Have Won Class A All-State Honors

HINTON, (Hinton News) – The Lady Bobcats continued their winning streak by defeating the number one team, Mingo Central, 37-33. Additionally, the JV team won 30-22 against Mingo Central.

Gracie Harvey led the scoring for the varsity team with 16 points. Avery Lilly added 11, Liv Meador 3, Sullivan Pivont 3, Abby Persinger 2, and Cheyenne Smith 2.

As for the JV team, Kaylee Cole scored 6, Claire Fox 5, Lexi Gore 5, Hadley Bennett 4, Tara Lilly 4, Kensi Plumley 3 and Braelyn Farrish 3.

The Lady Bobcats will host Greenbrier West tonight, Monday, Feb. 13. The JV game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity team at 7:30 p.m.
