Ted Kula has accepted an invitation to join the Main Street Care Board of Directors. Main Street Care is a 501c3, non-profit, whose purpose is to preserve, promote and develop health care services for Summers County. They are probably best known for operating the long-term care facility with 34 beds on the third floor of the hospital. Ted Kula joined the Board of Directors last fall, and attended the first meeting of the year, on January 10. During the meeting, the Board members discussed the project that began construction of four units for senior living at what is commonly known as the brick row properties in downtown Hinton. The project hopes to see completion of construction in 2022. One of the founding purposes of Main Street is to revitalize the area, and this project will both improve the area and promote health care services. During the meeting, the Board members also discussed employee issues, insurance, a quarterly meeting schedule, and the pursuit of grants in support of projects for the organization.
