WILLS
Carl Dale Wills, 77, of Madams Creek, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at home following a long illness.
Born November 6, 1944 at Madams Creek, he was the son of the late Norvel and Myrtle Hogan Wills.
Carl Dale was a lifelong resident of Summers County and was a retired employee of Summers County Board of Education. He was a member of Martha’s Chapel United Methodist Church at Madams Creek.
Carl Dale was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Wayne Wills; two grandsons, Edward Wayne and Joseph Lee Allen; and two sisters, Barbara Gills and Lois Buckland.
Survivors include his devoted and loving wife, Virginia Lee Blevins Wills at home; daughter, Teresa Allen and husband, Rudy; and two granddaughters, Catherine and Kaley Allen, all of Forest Hill.
Services were 1 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Terry Utterback officiating. Burial followed in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends could call from noon until time of services at the funeral parlors.
Pallbearers were Tommy Harvey, Michael Bennett, Charlie Fleshman, Joey and Jimmy Farley, Matt Thomas, Benny Allen, and Jason Underwood.
The family would like to thank Robyn Adkins and Samantha Conner of Summers County Rural Health Clinic and the Staff of Bowers Hospice House for their wonderful care and loving demeanor.
