After a week of homecoming festivities, Summers County students, parents, and staff gathered for the Friday night football game and homecoming crowning.
The Bobcats faced the Meadow Bridge Wildcats. The Wildcats took the lead early in the game and held on to it for both halves. The Bobcats were defeated 22-6.
At half time, homecoming attendants were introduced. Avery Lilly was this years freshman attendant, Gracie Harvey was this years sophomore attendant and Peyton Matheny was the junior attendant. The four senior attendants were Kylie Lilly, Makenna Wilburn, Marlee Meador, and Maggie Stover. Stover was crowned Homecoming Queen.
The Bobcats will travel to Pocahontas County this Friday for a 7:00 kick off.
