In less than two months, the students of the Summers County High School Class of 2021 will walk across the stage to receive their diplomas.
On May 21, at 6 p.m., Summers County High School plans to have an outdoor graduation ceremony on the football field.
This is the moment these seniors have worked toward for 12 years of their lives and many have worried this may not be possible due to COVID-19.
Superintendent David Warvel said, “This is a tentative plan that could always change.”
COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. Details like attendance limits will be announced at a later date.
