Motorists have had a slow go down Summers Street this week where crews have been replacing gas lines.
Mountaineer Gas Company trucks and equipment have been digging trenches along the riverside of the pavement installing new gas lines down several blocks of Summers entering Hinton from the West end. The improved infrastructure has required a lot of equipment during the project. Occasionally workers have had to slow down or stop traffic for a few moments, but school buses and normal traffic have not been particularly inconvenienced. It is anticipated the work would be completed by the end of the week.
