The City of Hinton is planning another big Spring Clean Up this year in April, with some special days tied in with other annual holidays, Earth Day and Arbor Day. The City Council voted to schedule clean-up days on Thursday, April 22, and Saturday, April 24, and over the course of two weeks. The activities will be coordinated by Candice Lee Helms.
Large teal REAP bags are being made available, as everything needs to be bagged for the city public works crews to pick up. This year, Hinton Mayor Jack Scott says there will be a focus on appliances for those who need to dispose of the larger items. More information will be coming out in the next couple of weeks, and Hinton News will provide the details when they are available.
