Hinton local, Anthony L. Adkins has been awarded the title of Employee of The Year by employer Safe And Sound Security Systems Inc. for the third year in a row.
Adkins has been working for Safe And Sound as an alarm technician since October 18, 2016.
According to the announcement made by Safe And Sound, before working for the company Adkins was a construction worker. Since joining the team he has gained numerous licenses, certifications and awards.
The announcement also noted that among the many reasons that Adkins received this award is because he often goes above and beyond the call of duty and always strives to meet the needs of customers. In fact, he has become so endeared by many customers that they request him by name. The announcement described Adkins as “a prime example of an ideal essential employee.”
As a thank you, Safe And Sound Security Systems Inc. presented Adkins with a certificate detailing him as the 2020 Employee of The Year. In addition to the certificate, Mr. Adkins was also presented with a $500 Visa gift card.
Many Summers County community members flooded the comment section of the original announcement post on Facebook with words of congratulations.
