Missy’s Market moved into Summers County on July 16, 2020, and quickly became a staple in the community. There would always be a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, which was the store’s primary ware. They also carried some household items and decorations. They even offered large wood carvings. Many citizens frequented the store after opening.
Not only could patrons find wonderful products to purchase, but the store also found ways to help the community. They held a Christmas food drive to provide meals to families in need over the holidays. They also held an auction in conjunction with the food drive to provide as much as possible to those in need.
Unfortunately, the store announced on its official Facebook page on Dec. 31, 2020, that it would be closing its doors permanently.
