The Summers County Health Department is planning a drive-thru flu shot clinic for Saturday, October 17, at Lifeline Church 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Shots will be available for ages 9 and up. Children under 18 must have parental consent.
Have insurance card ready. Most major insurances will be accepted. If an individual does not have insurance, the vaccine can be provided at a reduced rate (call for details).
Wear a short-sleeved shirt that will allow the sleeve to be pulled up over the shoulder. Since you will be seated in a vehicle, easy access to your shoulder is required for administration of the vaccine. Do not wear a long-sleeved shirt.
Lifeline Church is located at 505 Stokes Drive, in Hinton. The entrance will be closest to the Hinton high rise and the exit will be closest to Walgreens.
Those with questions can call the Summers County Health Department at 304-466-3388
