RAVENSWOOD, W.Va (The Hinton News) – Senator Jim Justice visited Constellium Ravenswood and highlighted West Virginia’s role in manufacturing and in aerospace and space exploration during World Space Week and National Manufacturing Week, including Constellium’s contributions to NASA’s Artemis program.
“For years, I’ve said West Virginia is on a figurative rocket ship ride. Well, right here in Ravenswood, at Constellium we don’t have to imagine it. We can see a true rocket ship ride happening right in front of us. Right here in Ravenswood, you helped build the foundation that carried astronauts around the Moon. You do not have to leave West Virginia to do extraordinary things. The workforce right here is proving that every single day,” said Senator Jim Justice.
“It was an honor to welcome Senator Justice and Baby Dog to Constellium. We truly appreciated his heartfelt recognition of the men and women who make up our incredible team. His understanding of the important role Constellium plays in West Virginia and around the world means so much to our employees. We are proud of the work we do and the value we bring to our state, and our communities. Our mission is to build on our successes and continue to make a positive impact on our team, our customers and WV,” said President of Constellium Ravenswood, Brian McCallie.
