TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
The purpose of this action is to determine guardianship of Sutton Wilson Ward (DOB: 05/01/2026). Petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Human Services, is seeking continued legal and physical custody of said child, and/or Termination of Parental Rights.
It appearing that the whereabouts of any known or unknown father, or of any named or unnamed father, or of anyone claiming paternity of infant child, is presently unknown at this time, it is ORDERED that any known or unknown father, or any named or unnamed father, or anyone claiming paternity of infant child, appear in the Office of the Honorable Amy L. Mann, Judge of the Circuit Court of Summers County, West Virginia, for a Preliminary Hearing on June 15, 2026, at 11:45 a.m., of that day and object, or make other defense, to the Petition, otherwise guardianship of the child may be granted to the West Virginia Department of Human Services, and the parental rights of the father may be terminated.
Further, it is hereby ORDERED that any known or unknown father, or any named or unnamed father, or anyone claiming paternity of Sutton Wilson Ward (DOB: 05/01/2026), be advised of his right to have counsel at every stage of these proceedings and that counsel will be appointed if they cannot pay for the services of counsel and that such proceedings may result in the severance of parental rights and the transfer of custody of said child unto the Petitioner.
