REQUEST FOR BIDS
Summers County Commission is accepting sealed bids for a 2013 Dodge 4D VIN No. 2C3CDXAT6DH721724. This vehicle is being sold “AS IS” and considered non-running. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Summers County Commission at 120 Ballengee Street, Suite 203, Hinton, WV 25951, or presented to the Summers County Clerk, 120 Ballengee Street, Suite 106, Hinton, WV 25951. Bids must be received in the office by the end of business on February 7, 2025, regardless of postmark. Sealed bids will be opened by the Summers County Commission in Regular Session on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
Terms of payment: Payment shall be made in full within five business days by certified check or cash made payable to the Sheriff of Summers County before possession can be taken. Vehicle must be removed within five business days of receipt of title. In the event that the bid fails to meet statutory requirements, the Commission will reject all bids and refer the said vehicle to auction.
