Old church meeting house on River Ridge in Pipestem to hold annual homecoming

PIPESTEM W.Va. (Hinton News) – The old church meeting house on River Ridge in Pipestem, Summers County, will host its annual homecoming starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024.

This event marks the gathering of descendants of early settlers of River Ridge including Meadors, Cooks, Farleys, Keatons, Petreys, Lanes, Martins, Millers, Thompsons and others.
 
The meeting house is 155 years old and was used as a church, school and meeting house.
 
Everyone is invited to come, bring a basket lunch and spend the day meeting family and friends.
