HINTON W.Va. (Hinton News) – UPDATE: According to the City of Hinton, the water company has recommended shutting down 2nd Avenue from James Street and Ballengee until crews can evaluate the situation. Additionally, City representatives states that water is cut off at this time and updates will be provided.

According to Summers County 911, there is a “water main break near the intersection of James and Second Avenue,” in downtown Hinton. Officials state that the water company is enroute.
