She graduated from Hinton High School in 1951 and kept in touch with most of her classmates, helping to organize many class reunions. In later years, she had so many wonderful people in her life. Special among them is her cousin, Kent Bartgis, and his wife, Anna Lou, who helped her so much. They have been with her all along this final journey, along with cousins, Tom and Donna Conway. The most precious gift anyone gave her is the love and care that Betty and John Hendrick have bestowed on Ginger after her return to Hinton, especially during her surgery this year and after care.
At Ginger’s request, no funeral was held at the time of her passing. However, on December 2nd, the day before her 90th, a Memorial Birthday Party is being held at the First United Methodist Church, 312 Ballengee Street, Hinton, WV, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. to celebrate her life. All are welcome for food, a slide show, music by her sister, Jayne, and a remembrance tree.
