SUMMERS COUNTY W.Va. (Hinton News) – The Community Thanksgiving Meal Project, a 100 percent volunteer effort, needs your help delivering 300 meals on Thursday, Nov. 23, to homes throughout Summers County. Meals will be available for transport between 11 and 11:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day at First Presbyterian Church in Hinton. Drivers should be finished within an hour, depending on what area of the county meals are going to.
Delivery teams of two will deliver 20-25 meals in zones from downtown Hinton to outlying neighborhoods to the far reaches of the county.
To volunteer, please call or text 304-860-9446 or email nancyofmadamscreek@gmail.com. Thank you for your willingness to share your gratitude this holiday season.
