WILLOWWOOD, (Hinton News) – The library building first opened as the National Bank of Summers in 1921, but now it is in need of some TLC. The Friends are raising money to repair the windows, roof and paint the exterior. Please help by supporting the upcoming golf tournament at WillowWood Country Club on Sunday, June 25.
Teams will be picked between noon and 12:30 p.m., with tee-off at 1 p.m. The fee to play is $40 per golfer, which includes two Mulligans. To register, call WillowWood at 304-466-3220 prior to Saturday, June 24 at 7 p.m.
Door prizes and 50/50 tickets will be available during the event. Additionally, there will be bag lunches available.
The first-place team will take home $400, second-place $200 and third-place $100.
