Causeacon is coming to Beckley this April.

The event is Beckley’s first ever pop culture convention which includes all fandoms from anime to Star Wars, gaming and much more.

Causeacon is a charity convention, raising money to help benefit the local Women’s Resource Center which gives education and shelter to men, women and children who suffer from domestic and sexual violence.

The event takes place at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center and includes cosplay contests, video game and tabletop tournaments, vendor room, panels and classes, anime screening room, game shows, raves and a formal ball.

Causeacon takes place Friday, April 28, 11:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 29, 10 a.m.–11:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 30, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Causeacon is entering into its 5th year bringing people of all fandoms together in a safe environment to cosplay, play games, mingle and connect with one another. It combines the best aspects of traditional conventions with gaming tournaments, panels, special guests as well as raves, formal balls and more.
