HINTON, (Hinton News) – Three people have been arrested concerning a situation in February where a child went missing in Jumping Branch. Hinton News reported the initial situation in which an 11-year-old boy was reported missing. Emergency services across Summers County and surrounding areas responded to search for the child.

According to a statement from the Summers County Sheriff’s Office, three individuals, Richard, Tony and Elizebeth Reese, turned themselves in on Thursday, March 23, in answer to arrest warrants on four counts of Gross Child Neglect and four counts of Child Abuse. The statement also notes that officers have been investigating the situation since the beginning of February when the child went missing.
