TALCOTT, (Hinton News) – Active Southern West Virginia is holding a hiking event at the John Henry Historical Park in Talcott on Sunday, March 19 at 2 p.m. Community Captian Victoria will be leading the hike and everyone is invited to participate. All participants are encouraged to dress for the weather and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Boots are recommended due to the terrain being slightly uneven. Walking sticks/hiking poles are allowed. Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring sunscreen and their own water.
