SUMMERS COUNTY, (Hinton News) – The Lady Bobcats basketball team faced off with the Bluefield Lady Beavers in the Region III, Section 2 first round of sectional play on Monday, Feb. 20. At the end of the game, the Lady Bobcats were victorious with a final score of 56-29 putting the team at 19-4.
Gracie Harvey led the way scoring 19 points. Avery Lilly added 13, Sullivan Pivont 12, Liv Meador 6 and Cheyenne Smith 2.
Next, the team is headed to Wyoming East on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m.
