The Lady Bobcats Basketball Team played on Saturday, Jan. 21, and Tuesday, Jan. 24, and are now 12-4 for the season. In Saturday’s game, the team lost to Mingo Central 39-49. Sullivan Pivont brought in 25 of the team’s 39 points. Grace Harvey scored the second highest with 8 points. Liv Meador, Abby Persinger and Avery Lilly added 2 each.
On Tuesday, the Lady Bobcats went up against Bluefield and triumphed 61-32. Avery Lilly and Abby Persinger each scored 12; Liv Meador and Sullivan Pivont scored 9 each; Gracie Harvey scored 11; Cheyenne Smith 4; Kaylee Jones and Ashley Cooper scored 2 each.
The Lady Bobcats will play again on Jan. 27 against Nicholas County.
