Five community organizations will each receive a $250 check from donations generated by the 20th Annual PracticeLink – MountainPlex friends & family Christmas event at the McCreery Banquet and Event Center in the Hinton National Historic District. Beneficiaries of the 2022 event include: The Summers County Comprehensive High School Bands, Hinton Area Foundation, The Summers County Toy Fund, The Yummy Bags Ministry, Summers County Library, and the Hinton Area Foundation. These funds come from cash donations by more than one hundred fifty event attendees and are matched by the Allman family.

The dinner and festivities were provided and sponsored by the PracticeLink and MountainPlex companies which include The Market on Courthouse Square, Otter & Oak, Otter Cafe, Rivertown Gallery, The Ritz Theatre Cinema and Performing Arts, The Guest House Inn on Courthouse Square, and MountainPlex Media stations – ESPN Radio 102.3 The Ticket and Classic Hits 98.3FM.

The gourmet holiday dinner was prepared by Chef Craig Lilly who said, “ ” It was hard work, but definitely a labor of love. A love for my hometown. It felt so amazing to be back home in Hinton personally serving old friends and familiar faces. A very special thanks to my managers Chloe, Bridgette, and Ashley for all their hard work. There is absolutely no way I could have done it without them.”

The meal was served by The MountainPlex Hospitality Team. The following day, PracticeLink and MountainPlex associates were treated to a holiday luncheon catered by the Lucky Rivers Café and Catering.
