Dorothy Jean Boley, 99, passed away, Tuesday, December 13, 2022. The daughter of the late Charles Frederick and Kathleen Brennan Boley, she was born on March 9, 1921, in Hinton, WV.

Dorothy Jean graduated from Hinton High School, class of 1941, Charleston School of Commerce, and retired from the Clerical Department of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad with 43 years of service.

She was a lifetime and the oldest member of the First Baptist Church of Hinton. She was a member of the civic organizations within the community and active in their projects and events.

She was the last member of her immediate family and is survived by many cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, in Hinton, with Pastor Jeff Canterbury and Pastor Chris Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenbrier Burial Park.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church.

Men of the church will serve as pallbearers.
