Two Summers County Youth Football Cheerleading teams brought home trophies and the coveted spirit stick at a recent cheer competition. D Team and A Team won first place in Flag and Varsity, respectively. Many of the football players attended the competition to support their cheerleaders. According to one parent, the team immediately began chanting “Let’s Go Bobcats” when the teams came on stage. Their cries rang out so loudly that they seemed to drown out any other sound in the auditorium.

A Team is comprised of Charity Coyle, Brooke Garten and Sadie Lester. The Coaches are Jennifer Adkins, Abby Smith and Lisa Cyrus. D Team members include Luna Ayers, Willow Bailey, Karrington Holland, Adalynn Johnson and Mallie Mead. The Coaches for this are Maggie Meade and Megan Bailey.
