Shawn Ullom Joins WLU Foundation

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. (Hinton News) — Shawn Ullom of Morgantown, W.Va., has joined the West Liberty University Foundation as its new director of development.

“I am pleased to welcome Shawn to the WLU Foundation and look forward to his input as both an alumnus and sales professional,” said WLU Foundation President Angie Zambito-Hill.

Ullom graduated from WLU in 1987, earning a bachelor’s in business administration with an emphasis on marketing.

Prior to joining WLU, he was employed at West Virginia University, serving as a training officer for nearly three years. Before that he spent 27 years in the field of health care, working in sales and leadership development.

Ullom is the brother of WLU’s Athletic Director James “Lynn” Ullom. Shawn is married to WLU alumna Julie Azzi and together they have three adult children.

The WLU Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that supports, strengthens and sustains the university through raising, investment and stewardship of private funds. Its main office is located downtown at 1100 Main St. and it also maintains an office on the WLU main campus, located in historic Shaw Hall.

For more information, please visit its website at wlufoundation.org or call 304-336-5635.
