A Summers County man has been arrested following allegations of sexual abuse. According to the criminal complaint, a deputy submitted an investigation request in regards to the possible sexual abuse of a 14-year-old juvenile on April 1, 2022. This request stemmed from allegations made by family members of the victim. A CPS referral followed.

The criminal complaint states that a forensic interview was scheduled for the victim through the Summers County Child Advocacy Center. During the interview, the victim stated that the suspect, Justin Ray Weikle, 39, of Nimitz, touched her in a sexual manner on two occasions. Additionally, Weikle also allegedly showed the victim pornographic images on a cellphone.

At the time of the alleged incidents, the victim was 14-years-old while Weikle was 39-year-old.
