FARLEY
Norman E. Farley Sr., 91, of Madams Creek, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022. Born February 9, 1931 in Hinton to the late Otho and Ethel (Williams) Farley.
Norman retired from the Mid Atlantic Carpenters Union Local 1911 as an honorary member with 50 plus years. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, gardening, and taking the grandchildren to the hunting camp. He was of the Methodist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Barbara; his brothers, Raymond, Stanley, Eugene, Robert, Joe, and Clifford; and sisters, Mary and Linda.
Survivors include one son, Norman Jr. (Jennifer) Farley; one daughter, Debbie (Randy) Ballard; four grandchildren, Beth (Rick) Isaac, Benjamin (Jennifer) Farley, Jonathan (Shannon) Farley, and Neil (Susan) Farley; nine great-grandchildren, Taylor and Brandan Isaac, Allie, Lynnzie and Westyn Farley, Jillian, Bronson, and Reagan Farley, and Penelope Farley; two step-grandchildren, Lynette Ballard and Jarrod (Jessie) Ballard and their son, Rhett; two sisters, Martha Bennett and Margaret (John) Ryan; and one brother, Wayne (Tammy) Farley.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial followed in Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends could call from noon until service time on Wednesday at the funeral parlors.
Family served as pallbearers.
