ELKINS
Terry Curtis Elkins, 63, of Hinton was carried to Heaven on angels’ wings Monday, December 27, 2021, following a long illness.
Born September 17, 1958 at Radford, VA, he was a son of Dorothy Franklin Elkins of Hinton and the late Curtis Edward Elkins.
Terry was a maintenance technician for the Hinton House Apartments. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Eddie Willey.
Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 22 years, Stephanie Elkins at home; son, T.J. Elkins; daughter, Misty Elkins, both of NC; mother-in-law, Connie Willey of Hinton; brother-in-law, “Cubby” Willey and wife, Jennifer of FL; brother, Joe Elkins and wife, Connie of NC; sister, LeighAnn Davidson and husband, Steve of NC; special niece, Cameron Willey of FL; special nephew, “Cole” Willey of FL; special all-star, Layne Lambert and his little sis, Charlie Lambert; best friend, Mark Kesler; beloved canine, Sammie; and numerous family and friends whom he loved dearly.
Memorial services were 1 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2021 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Robbie Merritt and Ronnie Cobb officiating. Burial followed in the Indian Mills Cemetery. Friends could call from noon until time of services on Friday at the funeral parlors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
