Judy Faye Presley

PRESLEY

Judy Faye Presley, 77, of Hilldale, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Raleigh General Hospital following a short illness.

Born September 3, 1944, in Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Opal Bennett Craft.

Judy was a graduate of Talcott High School, and a member of the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church at Hilldale. She was retired and had worked as a Nurse Aide at Summers County Hospital and as a cook at Talcott School. She enjoyed painting, crafts, cooking, and Bingo. She especially loved her family and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Presley; and sons, Dink Lane; and a sister, Lucy Plumley; and an infant great-grandson.

Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, Jeff Lane (Sadie) of Madams Creek, Greg Lane (Vicky) of Talcott, and Frank Lane (Sam) of Hilldale; a daughter-in-law, Regina Lane of Ballengee; three step-sons, Bobby Presley of Hilldale, Timmy Presley and Denny Presley of Jumping Branch; three sisters, Alice Lane (Jerry) of Hilldale, and Bonnie Hinton and Rhodetta Hinton (Tommy) of Madams Creek; and seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Pivont Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ed Dolphin officiating. Burial followed at the Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery, at Hilldale.

The family served as pallbearers.

Friends could call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at the Pivont Funeral Home.
